Event parking is extremely limited, and this application does not secure parking spaces in the parade line-up zones. Event staff will assist those in need of finding appropriate parking.
A number of factors determine your placement in the parade. We attempt to accommodate as many requests as possible. Parade placement is at the sole discretion of the NWA Pride Parade Coordinator.
Your contingent must listen to and comply with all directions given by NWA Pride event staff.
All drivers must possess a valid drivers license. All vehicles must be insured and registered for the day of the parade. Driver’s license, valid registration and/or vehicle rental agreement, proof of insurance or vehicle rental agreement that shows that insurance was purchased, must be available on the day of the parade for inspection by any event staff. Drivers and/or vehicles without required licenses and documentation will not be allowed on the parade route. Vehicles must be in good physical and operating.
All participants of contingents are the responsibility of the registered group. Northwest Arkansas Equality, Inc. is not responsible for damages to vehicles or injuries to individuals before or during parade registration, lineup, or while on the parade route.
At no time may anyone dismount or board a moving vehicle.
Once off the parade route, all vehicles must be classified as street legal, per city and state laws. This includes the removal of decorations that drag the ground, and the dismount of excess people in cars, truck beds, or any persons in a flatbed trailer.
If your parade entry includes animals, in accordance with city ordinance, you are responsible for cleaning up after your animals in assembly and along the parade route and for properly disposing of all animal waste.
The NWA Pride Parade is a fun, active, and friendly event. As such, rude, disrespectful, or obscene behavior will not be tolerated. Any individual or group not behaving appropriately may, at the sole discretion of Northwest Arkansas Equality, Inc. and its agents, be removed from the parade.
Northwest Arkansas Equality, Inc. reserves the right to deny the application of parade entry, or continuation on the parade route, to any individual or organization it believes would misrepresent the intentions of this event and/or be offensive to event attendees or affiliated organizations. Any applicant misrepresenting their business description or marketing intentions, or who displays or distributes offensive or obscene materials, will be required to leave the area immediately at the request of the event organizers.
Parade entry fees are non-refundable.
All city, state, and federal policies, regulations, and laws must be followed at all times. The Fayetteville Police Department will be on site and en route. Fines may be issued to a contingent by the City of Fayetteville Police Department, and reconciling those are the responsibility of those determined by the Police or Court. Northwest Arkansas Equality reserves the right to assess additional penalties to those responsible for situations placing the events of NWA Pride in a negative light.
