Youth Bridge

Youth Bridge is a non-profit, for impact agency that serves teens and their families in the areas of abuse, neglect, addiction, homelessness, mental health issues, and behavioral problems. Youth Bridge is the only Northwest Arkansas Division of Youth Services (DYS) nonprofit for court-appointed community-based service and the only approved DYS residential substance abuse program in the state; Youth Bridge is only one of three agencies in Arkansas that operate a Runaway and Homeless Youth program and is the only agency in Arkansas that provides and supports the National Safe Place Program; Youth Bridge is the only clinically and behaviorally focused organization in Northwest Arkansas that provides mental health to children and families and has an exclusive program specifically for youth.

Center for Artistic Revolution (CAR)

CAR consists of LGBTQ and Ally Arkansans working together to dismantle oppression, build community and secure equality utilizing education, organizing, advocacy, and cultural work. CAR is home to the Lucille Marie Hamilton Youth Center, Arkansas’ first and only LGBTQ and ally youth drop-in center located in Little Rock. CAR’s programs include: Diverse Youth for Social Change (DYSC) for LGBTQ/ally youth ages 12-22; RevoluciĆ³n LGBTQ, a program focused on the LGBTQ+ Latinx community in Arkansas; Safe Schools Project, proves workshops for school administrators, counselors, and educators on the challenges and concerns of LGBTQ students, same-sex parents, and co-workers. AR Affiliate National GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) Network, providing resources for GSA’s and helping students establish GSAs in their schools.
